Darin Fass, CLU, CLF
Managing Partner
A 1993 graduate of Northeastern University, Darin Fass was attracted to the insurance industry because of the opportunity it offers for personal growth, as well as its service of providing financial security to businesses and families.  After interviewing with four insurance companies, Darin selected New York Life for its financial strength and high reputation.  These attributes, coupled with significant earnings potential, has long appealed to entrepreneurs from all walks of life.
He joined the Company’s Boston General Office, starting out as a sales agent.  After three successful years in sales, Darin was promoted to Sales Manager and eventually ranked among the top 15% of his peers in the country.  Darin was then promoted to Senior Partner at the Greater New York General Office in New York City.  By 2004, Darin was named to head the Westchester General Office, based in White Plains, which is responsible for nearly 100 agents.  Darin was nominated by his peers in 2011 to become a member of The Round Table of New York.  This group is made up of industry leaders from around the New York region.  In March 2014, Darin was promoted to Managing Partner of the Finger Lakes General Office.
After winning numerous Company and industry awards, Darin was elected chairman of New York Life’s Managing Partners Advisory Council in 2010.  MPAC, whose members are elected by their fellow Managing Partners, acts as a liaison between them and top executives of New York Life.  Both New York Life and Darin believe in giving back to the community.  He is a member the Westchester County Association’s Board of Directors and is active in a number of charitable organizations, including the Special Olympics, the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins University, and the Julie Fund, a Massachusetts organization that contributes to cancer research, patient and family support, and education.  Darin and his wife Michelle have three wonderful daughters.
Anthony Curcio, CLF
Sr. Partner
Anthony joined New York Life as a Partner in the Finger Lakes General Office in January 2006. He has been honored each year for his ability to recruit and develop quality agents. Anthony qualified for the “Gathering of Eagles” award in 2007, and again in 2008. He also qualified twice for the “Top 50” Partners Award in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Anthony was promoted to Senior Partner in the Syracuse Sales Office and qualified for the Partners Roundtable Award in 2010, 2011, and again in 2012. Anthony also earned his CLF designation in Dec. 2012 through The American College. In May 2013, Anthony was again promoted and accepted the position as Managing Partner of the Vermont General Office.
After spending over four years building the office in Vermont, Anthony had the opportunity to return back to his roots, reuniting with his family and again with the Finger Lakes General Office in October of 2017.
Prior to joining New York Life, Anthony spent 9 years with AXA / Equitable; two years as an advisor and seven as a Divisional Vice- President. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and served four years honorably in the United States Air Force.
Anthony grew up in Camillus, New York, is a graduate of West Genesee High, and now resides in Cicero, New York with his wife Ann of 23 years. They have three daughters, Lauren, Ashley, and Brianna and two granddaughters, Jewelyana and Penelope.
Andrew Schaffel
Andrew has been in the Financial Services industry since graduating from SUNY Brockport College in 2002.  He affiliated with New York Life as an agent in 2006, and has been a 7 time New York Life Council qualifier (2008-2014), most recently repeating reaching the prestigious New York Life President's Council (2014) status.  Andrew has been a four time (2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015) qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table*.  Andrew enjoys helping people achieve success and is passionate about his business.  When he is not working, he spends his time with his girlfriend Nancy, as well as playing tennis and golf.
Brad Dufrane, CLF, LUTCF
Brad began his financial services career in 1995.  Focusing on holistic planning, he helped his clients with their insurance needs as well as building $50 million+ under financial management.  In 2002, Brad shifted his focusing to recruiting, training and coaching advisors.  In 2008, Brad was promoted to Managing Director and moved from northern NY to Syracuse overseeing an organization that produced over $10 million in revenue and was responsible for 80+ advisors.

Brad has won numerous awards for his dedicated work in leadership.  In 2011, he completed his residency for his CLF designation with The American College. 

Brad and his wife Wendy have 3 children.  The family enjoys wake surfing, basketball and traveling.  Brad was a standout athlete and high school basketball coach. In 2015, he was inducted into his High School Hall of Fame as a player and coach.
Sean Butterworth
Joseph Cheslek
Corporate Vice President
Joe graduated from Western Michigan University 2001, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.  After working as a manager at Sam's Club for 7 years, Joe began his New York Life career in November 2006 as an Associate Administrative Manager in the Indiana General Office.  After 18 months in the associate program, Joe assumed the role of Administrative Manager in Greenville in March 2008.  In 2015, Joe became the Administrative Manager in St Louis where he spent two and half years.  Recently Joe accepted the Corporate Vice President role in the Finger Lakes General Office where he now resides.
Joe and his wife Amy have three children.  He enjoys spending time with friends and family, motor sports, skiing, football, hockey, golf, and traveling.
Robert Wise
Director of Agency Standards
Bob joined New York Life in October of 2005 and has served as Agency Standards Consultant for both the Finger Lakes and Buffalo-Erie General Offices. In March of 2007, Bob was promoted to Senior Agency Standards Consultant and currently oversees 175 producers in the upstate New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania regions. Bob began his career in finance as a Mortgage Consultant with Chase Manhattan Bank in Rochester, where he was employed for 15 years. From there, he entered the insurance and securities industry as an Associate with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Bob was named as the firm’s Agency Supervision Officer (ASO) in March 2001 where he oversaw the compliance activities of more than 50 producers.
He holds the following licenses: Series 7, Series 24, Series 6, and Series 63; as well as his New York State Life Accident & Health.
Bob is a lifelong resident of the city of Rochester where he was raised with his brother and two sisters. He graduated from Aquinas Institute and received his Associates degree in Business Administration from Monroe Community College. He currently resides in Greece, New York with his girlfriend Maricela and their two children Zachary (5) and Isabella (2).
Bob is an avid cyclist and in October of 2004 completed a tour of the Southern United States by crossing 9 states in just 27 days. In addition, Bob is currently involved in the following fund raising activities: MS 150 (Multiple Sclerosis) – 11 years, and American Diabetes Association – 7 years.
Lyndsey Kelly
Sr. Sales Development Manager
After graduating from St. Bonaventure University in 2004 with her MBA in Finance and Accounting, Lyndsey began her career as a sales assistant for a broker of an independent brokerage firm. After realizing her talent for working with clients, she decided to move onto a privately held investment firm where she built her practice over the next 5 years. In 2009, she joined New York Life as a Financial Services Professional, bringing her practice along with her. As an Agent with New York Life, she qualified for New York Life’s Executive Council^ for 3 consecutive years (2010-2012), as well as qualifying for the Million Dollar Round Table* for the 2 consecutive years (2011-2012) in which she was eligible. In the fall of 2012, she was promoted to the Sales Development Manager position.
Lyndsey is an avid runner and completed multiple full and half marathons across the country. She currently resides in Rochester, NY and enjoys playing softball and spending time with her friends and family.
Brad Aldrich
Sales Development Manager
Brad Aldrich has been working with New York Life Insurance Company since August of 2014 as a Financial Services Professional. In each of his three years with the company, Brad has achieved Executive Council Level. He graduated from State University of New York College at Cortland with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education. Brad and his wife Cassandra are expecting their first child later this year. Brad is also an active member of his community and his local church.
